Sailing in the Park
Sailing excursions offer a sustainable way to explore the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park and are one of the most fascinating ways to experience the park’s pristine nature.
The vessel
The sailing boat we’ll be sailing on in the La Maddalena Archipelago is called Helena and is an Atoll 43 from the French shipyard Dufour, a perfect vessel for this type of cruise with its spacious interior.
We’ll visit unique locations comparable only to the most sought-after exotic destinations: crystal-clear waters, beaches, and breathtaking landscapes, accompanied by the traditional flavors of Sardinian cuisine. The vessel is equipped with every comfort for navigation, from autopilot to furling sails, a spacious sundeck, shaded areas to protect you from sunburn, and a tender for comfortable access to the beaches. The vessel can carry a maximum of 12 people.
Sailing excursion itinerary
We’ll set sail for the more distant islands located to the north of the archipelago, specifically Budelli, Razzoli, and Santa Maria. We’ll then make a stop for about two hours at Porto della Madonna, the splendid body of water nestled between the three islands. Specifically, we’ll see the stunning clarity and colors of the Passo del Topo and Passo degli Asinelli, the Stramanari and Paduleddi islets and passages, and Cavaliere beach.
After lunch, which includes a tasting of typical Sardinian products, a fish-based first course, fruit, coffee, and myrtle liqueur, we’ll take a wonderful sail to the island of Spargi, the largest of the smaller islands and the most sought-after for its enchanting beaches: from Cala Granara to Cala Soraya, Cala Corsara, and Cala Connari.
With a bit of luck, you might even see dolphins swimming in the park’s waters.
Timetables and departures
Our excursions depart every day (weather permitting):
- 9:30 am departure of the excursion from the island of La Maddalena, with return scheduled for 6:00 pm.
- The excursion departs from Palau at 10:00 am, with return scheduled for 5:30 pm.
Prices for sailing trips in the La Maddalena archipelago
A) Sharing, for individual passengers or small groups (less than 12 people), rates vary depending on the season:

The exclusive charter cost is equivalent to 12 times the current per-person rate for the tour period.
Example: Exclusive charter in May costs 1,440 Euros (12 x 120 Euros).
